Manifest was bought on board by leading global messaging app, Viber, to launch their brand new social entertainment platform, Public Chats, in the UK and US. Exciting!
Public Chats is a social entertainment channel that allows users to tap into live conversations from their favourite personalities and celebrities.
Manifest set about launching Public Chats to a business, trade and tech audience with a launch event at the uber cool Hoxton Hotel in the UK and at The Bowery Meat Company in New York.
There was lots of media interest in the brand new platform and we secured press coverage in some top titles including The Drum, Marketing Magazine, CNBC, TechCrunch and Engadget.
The UK team didn’t stop there though. After getting a briefing that Viber was sponsoring Pixie Lott’s Platinum Pixie Album launch at cool new venue, Under the Bridge, Team Viber sent a press invite out to all showbiz media. We secured some top tier press attendees, including Daily Mirror, OK!, Digital Spy, new! and the Daily Express. The jewel in the crown was getting a rather awesome double page spread in Hello magazine. Score!
Fans who followed Pixie’s Public Chat on Viber had the chance to get insider access to the intimate event. Pixie’s Public Chat attracted an audience of more than 100k followers in the first 24 hours and is currently the second most popular chat on the platform.
Pixie revealed the gig’s secret location within her Public Chat, and a limited number of exclusive tickets were released to her followers on a first-come, first-served basis.
In total, the campaign achieved 106 pieces of coverage with a total reach of over 678 million.
