What the fox? Manifest syncs up with Wileyfox.

Manifest has been appointed as brand guardian and retained PR agency to manage consumer comms for Wileyfox, a new British technology brand looking to challenge the status quo in the smartphone market.

Having already helped Wileyfox develop its brand identity and consumer proposition through the agency’s BrandManifesto service, Manifest will now undertake all consumer-facing communications for the business.

Vijay Anand, Marketing Director at Wileyfox commented:

“Wileyfox is a brand looking to upend the smartphone market as we know it; and the identity, purpose and proposition articulated by Manifest gives us the perfect launch pad to build on our early success.

We are very excited to have now secured their services on a retained basis to take the Wileyfox message to the British public, driving brand awareness, reputation and sales with exciting creative campaigns that will  hopefully, raise a few eyebrows.”

With tens of thousands of its Android handsets already sold and new national retail listings and operator agreements secured, Wileyfox will expand its range over the next twelve months, aiming to build a new value proposition in the smartphone market that loosens the grip of Apple and Samsung.

Manifest will be responsible for Wileyfox’s global brand strategy, incorporating ongoing national and regional public relations campaigns, content creation and social media management briefs. The agency will also utilise its proprietary influencer relations platform, Roger, to drive reach and credibility online through collaborative influencer projects.

Alex Myers, founder at Manifest commented:

“The smartphone market has become increasingly homogenous in recent years, and we’ve known for a while there’s a real opportunity to blow the doors off. Wileyfox is the brand we’ve been waiting for – combining great tech, a unique value proposition and an ambitious vision to shake things up for good. We can’t wait to get started.”

Wow. Show me more stuff like this.
