Following the success of the launch of Lone Wolf (BrewDog’s distillery for vodka and gin) in the UK in May, we created a gin and tonic vending machine to launch their new ready to drink LoneWolf gin and tonic cans. YUM.

The initial launch of the vending machine was conducted in Old Street London, and coincidentally coincided with Burns Night. Therefore, as LoneWolf is a Scottish company, as part of the launch, we held a gin and vodka infused burns night supper inside the vending machine location, attended by 20 media and 20 consumers across two nights.

The machine was interacted with over 1,540 times, with the launch securing 35 pieces of coverage with a combined reach of 5,158,034, as well as a reach of over 20,000 on social media.

We then took the vending machine to Spinningfields in Manchester. The pop-up vending machine was launched in the Barton Arcade in Manchester, with a Manchester inspired supper club held in the Victorian storage room below it.

Guests at the supper club enjoyed a spirit infused Manchester inspired menu that featured: Meat pie, Lancashire Cheese and Eccles cakes. The cocktails to accompany the meal included, a Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds glowing cocktail and a cocktail inspired by a pint of beer. The event was attended by 100 media, influencers and consumers across two nights.

The machine was interacted with over 500 times, with the launch securing 19 pieces of coverage, with a combined reach of 2,119,524 and 10,000 reach on social media.
