The Estonian car manufacturer Nobe is aiming to change inner-city transportation with their three-wheeled, neo-retro designed electric car. Nobe came to Manifest asking for a communications strategy for their global brand launch, as well as their crowd-funding campaign.
We started by pulling together the brands’ global communications messages for the global press launch, which resulted in more than 250 articles worldwide in top tier media such as Jalopnik and Sweden’s largest financial newspaper Dagens Industri TV.
Our consultancy and strategy work for the crowd-funding campaign started with copywriting and forming of messaging on the crowd-funding platform as well as the execution of a PR-stunt in Stockholm. We scared the shit out of people by placing parking tickets on hundreds of cars around the city. The tickets that were exact copies of a Swedish parking ticket, had a bit more only that the information was a bit more uplifting than what people expect from the yellow piece of paper on your car window.
